Cool Company is an independent Future R&B duo comprised of dynamic vocalist Cool Yan and multi-instrumentalist/producer THANKYOUFATMATT. By seamlessly blending elements of Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Funk & Soul, Cool Company has been able to strike a remarkable balance between mellow serenades & funkified grooves. 100% independently they have garnered over 55M+ streams across their catalog and have had their music synced across shows on HBO, ABC, and Netflix, as well as features in ad campaigns for Samsung, Amazon, Hi-Chews Candy and more. Influenced by artists like Outkast, Frank Ocean, & Stevie Wonder, Cool Company has been constantly evolving since dropping their debut album Slice of Paradise in October of 2016 (4M+ streams). Their follow-up EP The Dose, Pt. 1 dropped in September 2018 and was led by breakout single “Bust It Open” which has amassed 6M+ streams since it’s release.
Since then, they have released a slew of new music including official remixes for NoMBe, Linda Diaz, and Cook Thugless and Cool Company originals. Their funky 2020 breakout single, “Floatin” (feat. Nic Hanson) has gotten over 1.5M streams since being released in May 2020 and was featured on Spotify’s Nu-Funk playlist. Their latest album Bless You (2021) is a showcase of their incredible work.
